Since 2005 we have started to deliver wicker products to the Romanian market. 

ArtSilva means solving a problem: we identify the solution, the raw material and the necessary structure, the right people to do this and we teach them how to overcome the limits.

We use willow twigs as a raw material for our products. When you touch freshly harvested willow twigs you fell a thrill and you can sense the natural flexibility. you have the feeling that you cand create anything with it, including airplanes. But it is useless.

It feels like you put your hand in a cold water spring. It's vitality. You can keep this feeling during winter time.

When the rods are dried it is enough to soak the willow in water for a a couple of days until it is flexible so that one can weave whatever is needed.

Over time, we have increased our number of products by starting to manufacture them based on architecture plans and design sketches. Sometimes we were receiving photos of things seen in foreign countries. Now we have images taken from the internet and platforms like Pinterest, Instagram etc to boost our creativity and to bring to life new shapes for new functions.
